SEO and GEO built into the architecture
The site was structured for both Google search and generative answer engines: answer-first sections, question-led headings, structured FAQ answers, internal-link silos, canonical metadata, sitemap priorities, robots rules and an llms.txt file for AI crawlers.
Programmatic suburb coverage
The build generates 1,102 suburb pages and 5,510 service-suburb pages from a data model, so Shire Security can rank for local intent such as security doors Cronulla, window screens Miranda, outdoor blinds Caringbah and similar service-area searches.
A full visual system, not a one-off page
The brand language was turned into reusable components: graphite surfaces, Shire green action states, chrome buttons, trust badges, product cards, quote CTAs, breadcrumbs, mobile call docks, guide cards and responsive layouts.
What the public website does
The main site explains the business clearly in the first screen: local Sutherland Shire security specialists, licensed installer, Prowler Proof authorised dealer, NSSA member, and direct quote actions. The homepage links into service pillars, product proof, trust sections, local service areas, buying guides and contact.
- Primary services: security doors, security screens, fly screens, plantation shutters and outdoor blinds.
- Conversion paths include call buttons, free measure-and-quote CTAs, contact forms, trust rows and service-specific next steps.
- Every major page keeps the same brand, navigation, CTA and footer system so the site feels consistent at scale.
SEO and GEO techniques used
The content system was written for search engines and AI answer engines at the same time. Pages use exact local intent, concise answer blocks, semantic headings, internal links, schema and crawlable static HTML so the useful content is visible without relying on client-side JavaScript.
- LocalBusiness, Organization, WebSite, Service, BreadcrumbList, FAQPage, BlogPosting, HowTo and Person schema are used where relevant.
- Robots.txt allows major AI crawlers while keeping internal design-system routes out of public indexing.
- Sitemap generation applies route priorities and change frequency, with 6,671 current sitemap routes.
Suburb and service-area system
The suburb architecture gives the business a local footprint without hand-building thousands of pages. Each suburb route can connect to the five service categories, surrounding service areas, local proof, relevant guides and quote actions.
- 1,102 suburb routes cover Sutherland Shire and surrounding Sydney localities.
- 5,510 service-suburb routes map each core service to each suburb.
- Priority suburbs receive richer local copy, suburb FAQs, maps and stronger product guidance for coastal, bushland and family-home conditions.
Blog and guide library
The blog is a buyer-education system, not filler. It answers product, pricing, standards, coastal durability and installation questions that customers research before calling, then routes readers into the right service page or quote flow.
- 41 rich guides cover ForceField, Crimsafe comparisons, AS 5039, 316 vs 304 stainless, coastal homes, maintenance, installation, locks, apartments, rentals, shutters, outdoor blinds and fly screens.
- Guides include Steve bylines, reviewed-by signals, related-service links and FAQ blocks.
- HowTo and FAQ schema support answer extraction for practical searches and AI summaries.
Design-system work
The design system turns the client brand into a reusable production UI kit. It includes the public website language and the internal component board used to keep quote pages, reports, cards, headers, footers and mobile controls consistent.
- Visual language: graphite and chrome surfaces, Shire green proof accents, strong serif display type and clean product photography.
- Component patterns: headers, footers, cards, badges, forms, accordions, tabs, tables, alerts, progress, status, overlays, sliders and mobile navigation.
- Accessibility target: responsive 320-1440px layouts, clear focus states, touch-safe controls and WCAG-oriented contrast decisions.
Build and handover system
The project uses React, Vite and TypeScript for the interactive site, plus generation scripts for SEO files, WebP assets and static crawlable pages. Content lives in structured data so new services, suburbs and guides can be added without rewriting templates.
- Static generation writes crawlable HTML for public routes and mirrors the React content model.
- SEO files are generated from the source data: sitemap.xml, robots.txt and llms.txt.
- The owner handoff separates code-complete work from off-site tasks such as Bing, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, citations, reviews and real photo/video collection.
