Data Deletion Instructions

AI Kick Start Socials is a desktop app that publishes to the social accounts you connect. This page explains what it stores and how to delete it, including data obtained through Meta (Facebook and Instagram). This page was last updated June 2026.

What the app stores

When you connect a social account, the app stores the access token and basic profile details (account id, name, handle, avatar) needed to publish on your behalf, plus the posts, captions, and media you create in the app. For desktop installs this data lives in a local database on your own computer, not on our servers.

Delete a connected account

To remove a connected Facebook or Instagram account and its stored token, open the app, go to Channels, and choose Disconnect on that account. Disconnecting deletes the stored token and profile details for that account immediately.

Delete all app data

Uninstalling the app removes the application. To also erase the local data store, delete the app's per-user data folder after uninstalling: on Windows it is %APPDATA%\com.aikickstart.socials, and on macOS it is ~/Library/Application Support/com.aikickstart.socials.

Revoke access at Meta

You can revoke the app's access from Meta at any time: in Facebook go to Settings & privacy, then Settings, then Business integrations (or Apps and Websites), select AI Kick Start Socials, and remove it. This invalidates the tokens the app holds for your account.

Request deletion by email

To have us confirm deletion of any data associated with you, email daniel.fleuren@aikickstart.com.au from the address linked to your account with the subject "Data deletion request". We will action and confirm the request within 30 days.

Yes. Sensitive workflows should use scoped permissions, redaction, audit trails, local-first patterns, and human checkpoints.

How much does an engagement cost?

Work is scoped as fixed engagements, so you know the price before we start. A workflow audit is the low-risk first step, and we discuss ranges honestly on the first call.

How fast can we see something working?

Fast. The first working automation typically ships inside one to two weeks through a focused sprint, then we improve it from real use.

Is our data safe?

Yes. We work redaction-first, offer local and on-premise options, and never process client documents without a scoped written agreement.

Do we need technical staff?

No. Coaching is included, and every system is handed over with runbooks so the person who owns the workflow can run, pause, and improve it.

Do you work outside Sydney and Wollongong?

Yes. We work remote-first across Australia, with on-site visits by arrangement.
